On Aug. 31, 2024, Foothill Technology High School's (Foothill Tech) Cross Country Team competed at University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) Gaucho Invitational.

Girls Championship Five-Kilometer

In the girls championship, Keera Wallace '26, Isabella "Bella" Efner '25, Bennett Rodman '26, Kaylyn Chaves '25 and Auden McCoy '27 raced against the other top female runners.

Wallace led the girls at 20:07.8.

Boys Championship Five-Kilometer

In the boys championship, Viggo Bortolin '27, Jaden Prillhart '26, Eli Billings '26, Conor White '25, Brandon Wofford '25 and Henry Fulk '25 represented Foothill Tech.

The boys were led by Bortolin at 16:20.7.

Girls Five-Kilometer

Emma Anderson '26, Julia Alkov '25, Lilybeth Rivera '25, Aanya Desham '27, Lizzy Walker '27 and Kalea Eggersten '26 came together to race in the girls five-kilometer.

The team was led by a time of 23:40.4 from Anderson.

Boys Five-Kilometer

Nathan Chanin '26, Noah Wagner '27, Camden Taylor '27, Baker Carlisle '26, Asher Bayless '26, Cayden Winterstein '25, Gavin Leedy '26, Asher Rodman '27, Josh Gonzales '25, Gavin Heiberger '26, Cameron Wolpe '27, Caleb Franco '27, Skyler Mathews '26, Ian Toreja '26, Wyatt Mesker '27, Sebastian Shumway '27 and Angel Virgen Jimenez '25 all represented Foothill Tech in the boys five-kilometer.

Chanin led the Dragons at 17:07.4.

Girls 1.52 mile.

Leilani Wallace '28, Lexi Mohror '28, Evelyn Whatley '28, Sophia Castro '28, Kiana Ponce '27, Abby Verboomen '28 and Brenda Virgen Jimenez '27 competed in the girls short course.

Wallace led the girls at 10:03.9.

Boys 1.52 mile.

The boys short course was raced by Asher Field '28, Nicholas Saucedo '28, Quentin Harris '28, Yannick Colin '28, Beau Anderson '28, Andrew Hanjoyo '28, Miguel Hernandez '28, Jonah Pickles '28, Tyler Tran '28, Kaleo Navarro Falcon '27, Jones Lees '28 and Aaron Heiberger '28.

The Dragons were led by Field at 8:04.5.
